SDP Approved

Our Site Development Plan (SDP) was (conditionally) approved today, which is a huge hurdle towards getting approval for the project. Once we have the formal approval of the SDP in writing, we’ll be able to submit for our permits and then hopefully get started on the demo shortly thereafter.

In order to get from condition approval to formal approval, we need to have another part of the county government review a title report on our property and prepare covenants allowing us to proceed with the project. Then we’ll need to have everything formally signed off by several different parts of the government — Planning/Zoning, Public Works, etc. This process will likely take another month or so, which means — if we’re lucky — we should be submitting for permits at the beginning of May.
