Watch on Wednesday: Week 4
This Week’s Location: In the back of the lot, behind the dirt piles we will someday call “home.” See the black line on the outside back wall of the foundation? That’s grade–the line to which the dirt will be backfilled and the grass seed planted. Too bad we somehow managed to design a door that opens up a good foot-foot-and-a-half above grade. (At least we caught it now, so the framing company can change it while they’re building the walls, before they’re installed on site!)

So many details to be considered and you two are doing an excellent job. I’ve enjoyed watching the old house disappear and the new one come to life
