Part 1: The House’s History

The Abbreviated Version: We started looking everywhere in the community we wanted, but couldn’t find a house that suited our needs. As luck would have it, our great friends stumbled upon an estate sale directly across the street! Awesome neighborhood and awesome lot, but not-so-awesome house–it needed a complete overhaul. The property wasn’t publicly listed yet but the executors of the will had already met with a real estate professional, who determined the current property value was $250,000.
