It was a busy day at the build site yesterday. The footing crew from Bartley Corp. got there at 7:00am yesterday morning, and immediately started setting up the forms for the footers. By noon, they were done with the forms, and it was time to wait for the inspector to show up to do the footer inspection. He showed up at 3:00pm, spent about 10 minutes on site, and passed our inspection. The concrete pump truck was on-site by then, and as soon as the inspector left, the guys immediately called for the concrete mixing trucks. Three trucks of concrete showed up at 3:30pm.
There were some issues with the line on the pump truck and it took about an hour to get things rolling, but by 4:30pm concrete was flowing, and by 6:00pm the forms were filled, leveled and rebar was in place. We left for dinner, but about an hour later, the guys pulled the forms off, and the footers are now completed. All in one day…
