As is typical, the demo company doesn’t want to have anything to do with disposal of asbestos during demo (we have some asbestos siding). They were able to refer me over to the environmental company they typically use — ARC Construction — and I gave them a call. Long story short, the guy I spoke with asked me a few questions, had me send him pictures of the house from all four sides and then was able to give me a quote an hour later.
This was one of the easiest quotes I’ve ever gotten, and the price was very reasonable — $1800 for removal and proper disposal. I didn’t even bother to negotiate this one…
